    The Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS) intends to enter into a 7-month software licensing agreement with RapidDeploy for GIS Hosting (GeoComm). These GIS publishing services integrate into RapidDeploy RadiusMap to provide GIS data to effectively map the location of public safety emergencies.

    DPS has determined that this procurement is a single source purchase because access to the GIS Hosting for the mapped RadiusMap tool is critical for Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) to respond to 911 calls while DPS is in the process of transitioning to a State-provided GIS mapping solution.
