72-14-00-00 : Heavy construction services
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation Rail and Transit Division MassDOT or Owner is
seeking Contractors to submit an electronic Bid for the Ware River Secondary Culvert Replacements at MP
19.84 and MP 19.96 Project. The project consists of work to remove and reconstruct two railroad culvert
crossings on the Ware River Secondary as follows:
Removal and disposal of existing twin 8 round corrugated metal culvert at MP 19.84
Furnishing and installing 24 round Class V Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) culvert with precast
concrete wingwall and permanent steel sheeting support wall at MP 19.84
Removing, resetting, surfacing and aligning track; All other work associated with the Culvert Replacement at MP 19.84 as described in the Project
Description and Scope of Work sections of the bid documents
Removal and disposal of existing 36 x 36 stone box culvert at MP 19.96
Furnishing and installing 48 round Class V Reinforced Concrete Pipe RCP culvert with precast
concrete wingwalls at MP 19.96
Removing, resetting, surfacing and aligning track
All other work associated with the Culvert Replacement at MP 19.96 as described in the Project
Description and Scope of Work sections of the bid documents
