AGFC will be able to provide recent timber cruise information for stands on Commission Wildlife Management Areas. The researcher will need to go to those stands and collect more detailed habitat information on tree density by dbh in order to evaluate density of suitable Rafinesque’s big-eared bat roost trees. Trees with basal cavities will be surveyed for bat use using a spotlight, perhaps with the aid of a mirror, to determine bat use.
