Release Date: 4/14/2025
Due Date: 5/7/2025
The City of Hialeah requires the services of an experienced vendor to provide Instructional Racquet Sport Programming and Court Management Services at Goodlet Tennis Center or one or more of the City's Neighborhood Park Tennis Courts. Overseen by the Department of Parks & Community Engagement.
The City of Hialeah, with its vibrant community and diverse population, recognizes the need for comprehensive instructional tennis programming and court management services to enhance its recreational offerings and promote an active lifestyle among its residents. Goodlet Tennis Center, a significant facility covering approximately 2 acres, serves as a central hub for tennis activities within the city. However, neighborhood tennis courts across Hialeah are also a popular destination for avid tennis players and the City would also like to offer satellite tennis lessons at those facilities as well. The City is willing to award more than one respondent to those solely interested in providing lessons at neighborhood tennis courts as long as the awarded respondent implements a system that maintains at least one court open for public use at all times, while also satisfying the remaining requirements of this RFP.
The City's commitment to making racquet sports accessible and affordable for all residents is crucial. Instructional tennis lessons should be priced to accommodate the diverse economic backgrounds of Hialeah’s population, ensuring equitable access to the sport. Additionally, the respondent may offer a range of services, including private individual lessons, group sessions, and organized tournaments and events. By providing structured and varied programming, the respondent will contribute to fostering a thriving tennis culture within the city, encouraging both participation and competition among residents of all ages and skill levels.
