For this project, substantial completion for the overall project shall be defined as all utility, grading, backfill, topsoil, finish grading, trail work, completion of pedestrian bridge, and trail fully open to traffic. The work includes all materials, equipment, transportation, and labor necessary to complete the improvements. The proposed project includes 1,156 CY of Class 10 Excavation, 77 SY 6” PCC pavement for shared use path, 115 SY of special subgrade preparation for shared use path, 1.9 STA of shoulder finishing for shared use path, 20 tons of class A stone for granular shouldering, 18 SY of reinforced bridge approach pavement, traffic control, erosion control, surface restoration, 150’-0” x 10’ Pre-Engineered Steel Truss Trail Bridge, and other miscellaneous work.
