PARK & RECREATION DEPARTMENT
REQUEST FOR BID

Electronically submitted bids will be received by the City of West Des Moines City Clerk’s Office at wdm.ionwave.net until 2:00 p.m. on September 10, 2025 for the following described public improvement:

Raccoon River Park

Boat Locker Expansion - Boat Lockers

At the above time all bids received by the City will be electronically unsealed and made public at wdm.ionwave.net. All bids shall be made on the form furnished by the City through wdm.ionwave.net and shall be filed on or before the time specified above.
The extent of work on this project is the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of improvements generally described as follows: Provide, deliver and install the boat lockers on an existing concrete pad. Work is to take place at Raccoon River Park located at 2500 Grand Ave in West Des Moines, IA.
The kinds of materials, estimated quantities, and work to be done for the project on which bids will be received are as shown on the bid proposal for said project. All work is to be done in strict compliance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by the City of West Des Moines.
Work on said project shall commence within ten (10) days of the written notice to proceed and shall be completed by November 5, 2025. Liquidated damages in the amount of Two Hundred Fifty dollars ($250.00) per day will be assessed for each day that the work remains uncompleted after the end of the contract period.

The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any and/or all technicalities and/or all irregularities.
