DESCRIPTION:
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Services. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8), is soliciting proposals and intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Type Contract to provide Document Shredding Services. Contractor shall provide all labor, containers, vehicles, equipment, materials, management, etc. necessary to provide Document Collection, Removal, and Shredding Services for the James A. Haley VA Hospital (JAHVH), Tamps, FL. This solicitation announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested, and a written Request For Proposal (RFP) Solicitation document is attached.

PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS): All required services shall be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), dated 07/16/2025, incorporated into the attached RFP 36C24825R0136.
NAICS: The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561990, Document Shredding, with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5M.

PERIOD of PERFORMANCE: The contract period of performance is 09/16/2025 to 09/15/2030. The contract term shall cover a one-year Base Period with four (4) one (1) year Option Periods.
CONTRACT TYPE: Firm Fixed, Indefinite Quantity Contract with funded Task Orders.
RFP TIMELINE DUE DATES TABLE
E-MAIL CORRESPONDENCE: All e-mail correspondence for the subject RFP shall be sent with the subject heading as follows: REQUEST FOR INFORMATION - RFP #36C24825R0136, Document Shredding Service . In addition, All questions and correspondence shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to the below listed Points of Contacts (POC). Fax correspondence and telephone contact will not be accepted.
SITE VISIT (S) SCHEDULE: A site visit has been scheduled for the above date and time listed on the above RFP TIMELINE DUE DATES TABLE. Offerors must confirm their intentions to attend the scheduled site visit and e-mail the above listed Points of Contacts (POC) no later than 2 business days prior to the above scheduled site visit.

All site visit requests shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to the above listed Points of Contacts (POC).
All site visit E-mail requests shall be sent with the subject heading listed above in Para 2.
Offerors shall provide the individual name(s), total number of personnel, and the company name for each of the individual(s) planning to attend.
