Project Description: NOTICE
Sealed proposals will be received online via PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 10:00 A.M. February 20, 2026. After bid opening a Public Notice will be issued via PennBid containing any available bid results for the furnishing of the following quantities of Meter Yokes conforming with ANSI/A.W.W.A. Standards:
CONTRACT R044-26 FURNISH METER YOKES
Copies of bidding forms, specifications and other contract documents will be available at no cost on the PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) website. Bidders shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via the “Vendor Discussions” tab in Messages on PennBid.
All bids shall contain sufficient information on the material proposed to be furnished to permit the Authority to determine its meeting the specifications.
All materials must meet Build America Buy America (BABA), American Iron and Steel (AIS) and Steel Procurement Act requirements.
Prices quoted shall be firm for the period of APRIL 1, 2026 THROUGH MARCH 31, 2027.
Vendors who are awarded contracts are assessed a variable award fee based on the type of contract. Term Contracts award fee is 1/6 of 1% (.00166%) of the initial contract award amount. The award fee shall be no less than $100 and no greater than $5,000.
The successful bidder shall provide the Authority with a surety bond, acceptable to the Authority, for the faithful performance of the contract, within ten (10) days after the Authority’s formal notification of contract award. The amount of the surety bond shall be $5,000.00.
Any bid not submitted under the conditions provided herein will be rejected.
The Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid or any portion of the bids it deems in its best interest.
