Project Description: NOTICE
Sealed proposals will be received online via PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 10:00 A.M. May 22, 2025. After bid opening a Public Notice will be issued via PennBid containing any available bid results for the furnishing of the following:
CONTRACT R003-26 Furnish Ductile Iron Pipe as follows:
Up to 20 thousand (20,000) feet of six (6) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated).
Up to 20 thousand (20,000) feet of eight (8) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated).
Up to 20 thousand (20,000) feet of twelve (12) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated).
Up to 20 thousand (20,000) feet of sixteen (16) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated).
Up to 20 thousand (20,000) feet of twenty (20) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated).
Up to 20 thousand (20,000) feet of twenty-four (24) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated).
Up to 20 thousand (20,000) feet of thirty (30) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated).
Up to 20 thousand (20,000) feet of thirty-six (36) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated).
Up to 20 thousand (20,000) feet of forty-eight (48) inch Class 51 and Class 51 (Zinc Coated).
Up to 20 thousand (20,000) feet of forty-eight (48) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated).
Copies of bidding forms, specifications and other contract documents will be available at no cost on the PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) website. Bidders shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via the “Vendor Discussions” tab in Messages on PennBid.
Vendors who are awarded contracts are assessed a variable award fee based on the type of contract. Term Contracts Award fee is 1/6% (.00166) of the expected value of the contract for the time period of the awarded contract. The award fee shall be no less than $100 and no greater than $5,000.
Prices quoted shall be firm for the period of JULY 1, 2025 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2026.
The Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid or any portion of the bid it deems in its best interest.
