R410-A REFRIGERANT FOR HVAC SYSTEMS

Project Description: 80        Furnish and deliver R-410A Refrigerant, 25 lb. container, for commercial HVAC systems to
include all shipping and delivery fees to F.O.B. destination, and all applicable fees
and taxes.

Special Instructions

1. Direct all questions to Daryl Masanda, Director of Facilities Maintenance, (808) 932-
8814.

2. The awarded vendor shall coordinate deliveries with Daryl Masanda (808) 932-8814.
The physical site for all deliveries is University of Hawaii at Hilo, Facilities
Maintenance Shop, 360 West Lanikaula Street (Army Reserve), Hilo, Hawaii 96720.

3. The University reserves the option at the time of award to increase or reduce item
quantities at the unit price offered based on fund availability.

4. To be eligible for award, vendor must be compliant with the Internal Revenue Service,
State of Hawaii Department of Labor, State of Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer
Affairs, and the State of Hawaii Department of Taxation prior to the quote submission
deadline. The Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE), Certificate of Vendor Compliance will be
utilized to confirm vendor\'s compliance with all agencies. Information regarding Hawaii
Compliance Express is available at: https://vendors.ehawaii.gov/hce/splash/welcome.html.

Vendors shall electronically register with the Hawaii Compliance Express to obtain a
Certificate of Vendor Compliance which is acceptable as proof of compliance for both
contracting purposes and final payment.

The above certification should be applied for in a timely manner. The UNIVERSITY will
inform the successful vendor in writing as to the exact date and time that the above
certifications are due to the UNIVERSITY. If the successful vendor does not submit the
certifications by the date and time specified in the UNIVERSITY\'s written notification,
the successful vendor\'s quote shall be rejected. Thereafter, the UNIVERSITY reserves the
right to consider other offers received for the award.

5. Vendors are advised that any of the following may be grounds for disqualification:

- Taking exception to any of the specification terms and conditions.

- Placing conditions on the furnishing of solicited goods or services.

- Inclusion or referencing external documents containing additional specifications,
terms or conditions.

- Failure to follow RFQ instructions.
