R31A-R31C - MMC Food Service Upgrades

This project includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the Food Service Upgrades as described in the Contract Documents. Implementation Project, complete and ready for operation as indicated on the drawings and specified herein. The location for this contract work is at the Mass Mutual Center (MMC), 1277 Main Street Springfield, MA. The Project includes the following:

Stand 9 Renovations as the Base Bid: Project includes demolition of existing casework and finishes, as well as the construction of new counters and supports, and miscellaneous electrical improvements.

State Street Tap Renovations as Alternate #1: Project includes demolition of existing casework and finishes, as well as the construction of new counters, supports and soffits, miscellaneous electrical improvements, and mechanical exhaust.

Marketplace Renovations as Alternate #2: Project includes construction of new casework and counters, and electrical power.

Contract documents for bidders will be available on or after Wednesday March 13, 2024, from the Authority website rfp.massconvention.com. Each bidder may obtain the documents at such address, together with any addenda or amendments which the Authority may issue.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM. on Thursday, March 21, 2024, starting in the front lobby Box Office of the MMC located at 1277 Main Street, Springfield, Massachusetts. The pre-bid conference will be followed by a walkthrough of the site.

Questions or requests for information, clarification or interpretation of the bidding documents must be submitted in writing to bflynn@massconvention.com in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be received no later than 3:00 PM on Monday March 25, 2024.

The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (the "Authority") will receive sealed bids for the MassMutual Convention Center, MMC Food Service Upgrades, at the Administrative Offices of the Authority at 415 Summer Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02210, until 12:00 Noon local time on April 9, 2024, immediately after which, in a designated room, the bids will be opened and read publicly.
Sealed filed sub-bids for the same project for the sub-trades listed below will be received at the same office until 12:00 p.m. local time on April 3, 2024, immediately after which, in a designated room, the filed sub-bids will be opened and read publicly.
