Quidel/Ortho Reagent/Consumables

SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University ("SUNY DHSU") intends to procure a five (5) year agreement for reagents, consumables and related products using Premier Consortia Contract # PP-LA-717 Tier 6 pursuant to its authority under New York State Finance Law, section 163(3)(vi) which authorizes the use of a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of using a centralized contract and without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors who sell equivalent and compatible consumables may, if interested, contact the agent in the Procurement Department, listed below, to discuss this procurement.

Equivalency and compatibility must be demonstrated by meeting the performance of, and being compatible and interchangeable with existing supplies and accessories.

This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j & k, AKA the Lobbying Law. Therefore, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this procurement is the individual listed below. Failure to comply with this requirement can range from no contract to debarment from sales to any NYS Agency.

Successful contractor shall be required to submit valid and current NYS Workman’s Compensation and Disability Forms. In addition, the contractor will be required to complete and submit documents related to NYS Finance Law §139 j & k, and Public Officers Law.
