The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA, Metro, or the Authority) seeks a consultant team ("Contractor" or "Consultant") to identify and prioritize locations for queue jumps (QJs) treatments along Metro's 34 high frequency routes. Major tasks will include reviewing existing QJ locations and prioritization methodology and results, identifying and screening QJ locations, and prioritizing candidate locations. This project is an element of WMATA's growing bus priority program, conducted in partnership with local jurisdictions in the Compact. The goal of this project is to enable WMATA and its partner jurisdictions to identify cost-effective QJ opportunities for annual implementation planning over the next (five) 5 years. For this effort, QJ locations will be identified along Metro's high frequency routes in the District of Columbia, Prince George's County, Montgomery County, City of Alexandria, Arlington County, Fairfax County, and City of Falls Church.
