The Work consists of the renovation of an existing demonstration rain garden, expansion of existing parking area, conversion of existing asphalt pavement to permeable and traditional brick pavers, removal and replacement of existing portland cement concrete curb, relocation of an existing dumpster enclosure and peripheral site improvements. Owing to the nature of Library operations, certain scheduling and means / methods of construction will be subject to coordination with and approval by the Owner. The Work is more fully described and detailed in the contract documents. Refer to the Bid Documents for a complete description of work.

Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend and register at the on-site Pre-Bid Meeting to be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 @ 9:00 AM on-site at the Queen Anne’s County Centreville Branch Library located at 121 South Commerce Street, Centreville, Maryland 21617. Site inspection outside of the Pre-Bid Meeting may be possible and would need to be scheduled and approved in advance by contacting the Department of Public Works at (410) 758-0925.
