Queen Anne¡¯s County Airport Hangar Contractor

Queen Anne’s County (OWNER) is soliciting proposals for an individual or business (CONTRACTOR) to lease and operate an aviation orientated business out of the large hangar adjacent to Rt. 8 on the Bay Bridge Airport property, Queen Anne’s County, MD. Two offices are attached to the hangar, each of which have their own outside entrance or can be accessed from inside the hangar, and which are included with the hangar bid. The winning bidder will have the option to rent zero (0) to four (4) paved tie downs on the South side of the field at the time the contract is written. The tie down fees will be in addition to the winning bid amount and will be charged at the current rate in force at the airport. Additional tie downs may be available but are not guaranteed. This request for proposals is for an initial five (5) year contract with one five (5) year option to renew upon mutual agreement of both parties.

The sale of non-food related merchandise (pilot supplies, parts, artwork, clothing, etc.) will be permitted in conjunction with or in support of the primary aviation orientated business.
