Overview

Summary

The Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (Agency), on behalf of the Housing Authority of the County of Sacramento and the Housing Authority of the City of Sacramento, is soliciting Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) from service vendors and contractors licensed by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) for maintenance and construction services at public housing properties in the City and County of Sacramento.

The purpose of this RFQ is to establish a pool of qualified contractors eligible to perform various services and repairs under $24,000. All Task Order bids must be returned within 48 hours of issuance. Performance shall begin upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed and shall be completed by the completion date on the Task Order, or an agreed-upon date on the Notice to Proceed

These services may be used by any department, division, or legal entity of the Agency, as well as for special projects in targeted communities funded by federal and local programs.

Background

The Agency owns approximately 3,000 housing units throughout the City and County of Sacramento, ranging in size from studio to five-bedroom units. There are ten (10) Communities that make up these housing units. There are also two administration buildings that may use the services of this Qualified List. Those Communities will process requests for services through the issuance of an electronic Task Order via DocuSign. The Agency cannot determine the actual number or frequency of Task Orders that may occur during the contract term.
