The AAC East Marginal Way Project includes pavement preservation work (a 2" asphalt mill & overlay) on the southern portion of E Marginal Wy S. This pavement preservation project (a mill & overlay) is intended to extend the life of the existing pavement structure by 10 to 20 years. The project was awarded a $6.87M PSRC preservation grant. Scope of AAC work is typical of completed projects. Base repairs, ADA curb ramps, Stormwater Code mandated drainage improvements, striping & signal loop restoration, and the final surfacing course will all covered by AAC. Additional improvements and funding for those will be identified during the Complete Streets planning process.
