Overview
Summary

Project Description:

The City of Seattle through its Department of Transportation (SDOT), requests Statement of Qualifications from a comprehensive team to provide the core design services identified in the scope of work to preserve and repair the identified bridge packages listed below. SDOT has identified 12 bridges that have been bundled into 3 packages listed below. The bridges require preservation and repair to maintain their operational performance, along with two structures slated for decommissioning.

The scope of work for these packages includes but is not limited to inspection verification, NEPA/SEPA permitting support, preliminary design, final design including plans, specifications & estimates (PS&E), prep for bid documents and may include construction phase support. .Additional services will also include public outreach in coordination with SDOT (Open houses, first line communications, website management, etc.). The bridges represent a diverse range of structure types, ages, and uses, including multimodal, freight, and transit facilities. Some are designated historic or span sensitive waterways.

The awarded consultant(s) may be considered to complete subsequent phases depending on the consultant(s) satisfactory performance on prior work and upon negotiation of an agreement of the subsequent phases(s). The City is not obligated to use the same consultant for all phases. Separate consultant agreements may be considered for each phase that the funding is authorized. Anticipated subsequent phases: engineering design support during construction
