Purpose and Objectives
The Indianapolis Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) has a requirement for commercial radioactive waste removal for final disposition of liquid and solid uniform radioactive Low-Level Waste (LLW) to be completed by a qualified contractor.
The Government intends to award a contract for these services with a base year and four (4) one-year option periods, to be exercised at the Government s discretion.
This Sources Sought Notice is being issued by the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10, located in Ann Arbor MI, as market research for planning purposes.
A draft copy of the Statement of Work (SOW) is attached - this is the only information available at this time.
The applicable NAICS code is 562112 Hazardous Waste Collection, which has a size standard of $47 Million. The applicable Product Service Code (PSC) is Q999 Medical Other. Responses:

Responses are due by 11/6/2025 at 5:00 PM EST.
Responses shall be no more than 10 pages in length.

Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
