SPECIAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 05, Perry Point VAMC, 59 Avenue D, Perry Point, MD 21902 is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to inform industry contractors of the Government s of its intent to award a sole source contract to Deer s Head Hospital Center. The contract is expected to be awarded IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements per 41 USC §3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.
The contract will be for Deer s Head Hospital Center to provide Community Nursing Home services for the Perry Point VAMC.
Deer s Head Hospital Center is located at 351 Deer s Head Hospital Road, Salisbury, MD 21902.

This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made based on unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only.
The Government anticipates the award of an IDIQ contract.
This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations.
The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 05 will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent.
