PWC - Ohio State Fair Kayak Pond Liner Replacement

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is requesting bids for: Pool Liner Replacement- Kayak Pond at The Ohio Department of Natural Resources- Ohio State Fair Grounds - Natural Resources Park Kayak Pond.
Background:
The Kayak Pond at The Ohio Department of Natural Resources – Natural Resources Park hosts guests who are at least 50” tall and up to 300lb maximum to learn about boating safety and to try their hands at paddling skills in a manmade pond on the southern end of the Natural Resources Park. This roughly 7,500 square-foot pond offers a free, safe, and popular paddling experience for guests of all ages.

The Ohio State Fairgrounds- Natural Resources Park
Purpose:
To solicit proposals from qualified contractors for the removal of the existing pool liner/underlayment and installation of a new, reinforced polyethylene membrane liner. (or as otherwise recommended and quoted by bidder).  Overall pond size: 0.15 acres with an extended shelf equaling approximately about 0.3 acres. The liner overlaps in both directions and is 2x depth.

Evaluation. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State.
Contract Award. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by low lot total.  Low lot total will be determined by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items. Failure to bid all items may result in the bidder being deemed not responsive.
