Specifications
Underlayment –  15 lb minimum (ASTM D 3462)
Fiberglass shingles - made from glass felt and surfaced with mineral granules (ASTM D 4869)
Attic fans – roof mounted, 1,500 cfm, adjustable humidistat and thermostat,
Shingle preference: Pinnacle “Burnt Hickory” shingles
●             Gutters are to remain in place
●             Remove old roofing and underlayment inside the sections denoted in yellow
●             Remove and replace metal flashing in four valleys
●             Flash and seal around three vent stacks
●             Replace drip edge as necessary
●             Remove old roofing materials down to decking, inspect and replace any damaged or rotten decking, clean up and properly dispose of all materials off-site, install underlayment, seal flashing where necessary, install and fasten fiberglass shingles, properly install ridge caps, and ensure all construction materials, scraps, and any other debris are removed from the site
●             Work may be performed Monday-Friday 7:00am – 6:00pm
●             Contractor is responsible for demo, haul away, and site clean-up
●             Contractor is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits
●             Contractor will supply all materials for the service

Evaluation. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State.
Contract Award. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by low lot total.  Low lot total will be determined by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items. Failure to bid all items may result in the bidder being deemed not responsive.
