PUBLIC WORKS MOWER SHED ROOF PROJECT
CITY OF MARION, SC - BID SHEET
The City of Marion is accepting sealed bids for a roof replacement on the Public Works
Mower Shed at the Public Works Facility (313 E Bobby Gerald Parkway). Please note that
bids must be received no later than 10 am on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Marion City Hall, 107
S Main Street, P O Box 1190, Marion SC 29571.

8614. The City of Marion has the right to accept or refuse any and all bids. The invitation to
bid does not bind the City of Marion to purchase anything from the bidder. The contractor
assumes responsibility for Workman's Compensation and General Liability Insurance. All
work performed shall meet state and local codes. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Scope of Work:
It is the contractor's responsibility to verify all quantities.
1. Removal of the existing roofing shingle system to the wood deck
2. Inspect decking for damage and install new high-temp ice and water shield across
the entire wood deck
3. Installation of new 26-gauge multi-rib panels
4. Install rake edge metal, ridge cap metal, DekTite (or equivalent) pipe boots, and drip
edge
5. Fasteners to be color-matched
6. Color: Central State - Crimson Red; or equivalent

Contractor Requirements:
1. Licensed by the State of South Carolina.
2. Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance.
3. Proof of General Liability Insurance.
All bids must be sealed to ensure confidentiality and fairness in the bidding process. Please

Main St, PO Box 1190, Marion SC 29571, by 10:00 am on Friday, April 17, 2026.
