IFB No. 2026-0350-PW/BM
AUTOMOTIVE PARTS, EQUIPMENT, TIRES
& MISCELLANEOUS SUPPLIES FOR
SANTA FE COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS &
FIRE DEPARTMENT
ADDENDUM NO. 1
Dear Proponents,
This addendum is issued to reflect the following immediately. It shall be the responsibility of
interested Offerors to adhere to any changes or revisions to the IFB as identified in this Addendum
No. 1. This documentation shall become permanent and made part of the departmental files.
IFB Questions and Answers
Question No. 1:
We are currently participating in the NMSPA for Parts and Service. Will this
contract suffice for this purpose?
Answer No. 1:
Santa Fe County is procuring multiple contracts for automotive parts,
equipment, tires and miscellaneous supplies for County Public Works and
Fire Departments. Although the county may utilize NMSPA contracts for
these services, it would be in best interest of the county to have the capacity
to purchase these items from vendors who may not participate in a Statewide
Price agreement or other cooperative agreement.
Question No. 2:
While it is not specifically referenced in the contract title, it appears that
mechanical repair services are included within the scope of items to be bid.
Can you please confirm whether there is a separate contract for mechanical
repairs, or if this is the only contract under which we are required to submit
bids for those services?

Answer No. 2:
There is not a separate contract for mechanical repairs. IFB No. 2026-0350-
PW includes mechanical repairs within the IFB scope of items to bid.
Question No. 3:
Answer No. 3:
Is specialized heavy equipment included in this IFB? Example street
sweepers, combination sewer/catch basin equipment? If so, would our labor
rates go in the section 6 heavy duty labor column?
Yes, specialized heavy equipment is included within the IFB, both Public
Works and the Fire Department have items that are considered heavy
equipment that may need labor repair and/or parts. For example: tandems,
tractors, loaders, backhoes, firetrucks, ambulances, and all fire apparatuses.
To answer the second part of the question – yes, labor rates for heavy duty
equipment would get listed under SECTION 6: LABOR Item 66 Heavy Duty
Repair (Hourly Rate).
Please add this Addendum No. 1 to the original proposal documents and refer to proposal documents,
hereto as such. This and all subsequent addenda will become part of any resulting contract documents
