SPECIFICATION

1 Lube Center non-appointment full-service full synthetic oil changes for Public Safety and other City of Kalamazoo light duty gasoline and diesel vehicles.

2 Lube Centers shall have three (3) locations minimum within the City of Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Township or Oshtemo Township.

3 Lube Centers shall prioritize full-service full synthetic oil changes for Public Safety and other City of Kalamazoo light duty gasoline and diesel vehicles.

4 Lube Center wait times for Public Safety vehicles shall be minimized and shall not exceed 30 minutes from the time of arrival at the Lube Center to time of departure from the Lube Center. This time shall include all queue wait times and all vehicle servicing times. The total on-site experience shall not exceed 30 minutes.

5 There shall be no “up-selling” offered to any Public Safety and other City of Kalamazoo light duty gasoline and diesel vehicles for any reason at any time. The only pay item approved shall be the contractually approved services as detailed below:

5.1 300 Full-Service Full Synthetic Oil Changes per year (estimate).

5.2 Full Synthetic motor oil meeting, Ford, General Motors, or Dodge, Specific Engine, Platform, Application, and temperature range SAE XW-XX Grade and Specifications.

5.3 General Motors and Motorcraft Oil Reference Charts Provided.

.5.4 Premium Oil Filter Upgrade – Filter rated for full synthetic oil and extended drain intervals.

5.5 Check and adjust tire pressure to door sticker specifications.

5.6 Check engine air filter and advise.

5.7 Top off all fluids and inspect.

5.8 Lubricate door latches and strike plates – Except K-9 Units – DO NOT OPEN DOORS OF K9 UNITS.

5.9 Check bulbs, blinkers, lamps and advise.
