1. Set-asides, if applicable: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Acquisitions and Grants Office, Western Acquisition Division-Seattle Simplified Acquisitions Branch, intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order, on a brand name basis, under the authority of RFO FAR 12.102(a) and 41 U.S.C. 1901, with Qiagen LLC or authorized partners for the purchase of one new Qiagen Centrifuge 4-16S (120V, 60 Hz) with one matching Plate Rotor 2 x 96.

3. Description:
   
   (i) The requirement is for the purchase of one new Qiagen Centrifuge 4-16S (120V, 60 Hz) with one matching Plate Rotor 2 x 96. Equipment must have confirmed compatibility with the specified Qiagen rotor/centrifuge combination or demonstrate that the proposed equivalent meets or exceeds the performance and fit requirements of the named models ;
   
   (ii) This presolicitation notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package is available. However, firms that believe they can fully meet the Government’s requirements may submit substantiating documentation or a request for additional information in writing to the identified point of contact before the due date/ deadline of this SAM posting. Such requests and documentation will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Based on responses to this notice, it is solely within the discretion of the Government on whether or not to continue with a Brand Name Set-Aside Procurement. The anticipated award date is estimated to be August 2026.
