This solicitation is for the purchase and delivery of proprietary, brand‑name Teledyne Falcon Gas Chromatograph (GC) components and engineering enhancements required for the Safety Air Monitoring and Analytical Referee Systems (SAMARS) Phase 3 Part 2 effort at Dugway Proving Ground (DPG). The requirement includes customized column assemblies, modified trap modules, proprietary Flame Photometric Detector (FPD) optical filters, preconcentrator tubes, complete detector assemblies, and associated spare components. These items are uniquely designed for the Falcon GC and are not commercially interchangeable with other systems. All specifications, quantities, delivery requirements, and performance details are provided in the attached solicitation. This action is a logical follow‑on to prior SAMARS development phases and will result in a firm‑fixed‑price award.
This is a notice of intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with Teledyne Instruments, Inc., 16830 Chestnut Street, City of Industry, California 91748‑1017. This requirement is for proprietary, brand‑name Teledyne Falcon Gas Chromatograph (GC) components and engineering enhancements in support of the Safety Air Monitoring and Analytical Referee Systems (SAMARS) Phase 3 Part 2 effort. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR 12.201‑1 for commercial products and services at or below the simplified acquisition threshold.
