PURCHASE AND DELIVERY OF SCENIC VIEWERS WITH BASES
Description:

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of color blind-adapted scenic viewers/binoculars as well as installation bases. Color blindness affects an estimated 350 million people worldwide and it is our desire to install color blind-viewers in our DEC campgrounds and day use areas to help all visitors experience the beauty of our facilities. We expect that the installation of the viewers will attract more visitors to our facilities, further the Agency’s accessibility and inclusiveness goals and reach a new audience of visitors. The viewers will be free and will allow visitors with normal color vision as well as those with color blindness to enjoy all our facilities have to offer.
