NOTICE TO BIDDERS
A NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed Bids will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Englewood for the City of Englewood, 2-10 North Van Brunt Street, Englewood, New Jersey 07631, at 11:00 a.m. January 10, 2025 on behalf of the Flat Rock Brook Nature Association for the Purchase and Delivery of Black Locust Lumber at the Flat Rock Brook Nature Center, Project Number FRBNA No.: 102. The Sealed Bid Proposals must be delivered to the City Clerk's office prior to the time of the bid opening. at which time and place the Bid Packets will be publicly unsealed and its contents announced in public for the PURCHASE AND DELIVERY OF BLACK LOCUST LUMBER.
NOTE: Any bid document received after the deadline will not be accepted, regardless of the method of delivery.
The scope of Work contemplated for the above named Project includes the delivery and unloading in the parking area of the Flat Rock Brook Nature Center, located at 443 Van Nostrand Avenue, Englewood, New Jersey 07631, of the specified Black Locust Lumber within 30 calendar days of the execution of the contract.

The provided Bid Packet must be completed and submitted in accordance with N.J.A.C. 5:34-1 et. Seq. The award of the Contract for this Project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided by FLAT ROCK BROOK NATURE ASSOCIATION in a lawful manner. Please be advised that this Project is being funded through NEW JERSEY GREEN ACRES, BERGEN COUNTY OPEN SPACE TRUST FUND AND PRIVATE DONATIONS. Please be advised that State funds through the Green Acres Program are being utilized in this project. Under N.J.A.C. 7:1D-2, vendors currently suspended, debarred, or disqualified are excluded from participation on this project.
The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with the applicable statutory requirements of the Contract Documents and Plans which include all of the following: (i) N.J.A.C. 17:27; (ii) N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq.; (iii) Business Registrations (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44); (iv) ; (iv) Affirmative Action Requirements (N.J.S.A. 10:5-1, et seq.); and any other legal requirements applicable to this Project.
THE FLAT ROCK BROOK NATURE ASSOCIATION intends to award this Project to the lowest Bidder whose Bid Packet is responsive and complies with its requirements for the Project, provided that in the judgment of THE FLAT ROCK BROOK NATURE ASSOCIATION is reasonable, within available funds and in the interest of THE FLAT ROCK BROOK NATURE ASSOCIATION. The FLAT ROCK BROOK NATURE ASSOCIATION reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law. An award will be made or Bid Packets will be rejected within sixty (60) Calendar Days after the opening of the Bid Packets, during which time the Bid Packets shall be irrevocable and unavailable to withdraw by Bidders, unless otherwise extended in the Contract Documents.
