THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS.
The Government intends to solicit this requirement directly from suppliers IAW FAR 12.201-1(c)(2) for a firm‑fixed‑price contract to purchase one (1) refuse truck for OM BG HE, Camp Zama, Japan. The anticipated award date is 14 August 2026 (subject to change).
Requirement:
One (1) rear‑hopper refuse truck for OM BG HE at Camp Zama, Japan. The contractor shall deliver the refuse truck directly to Camp Zama, Japan. Any damage incurred during delivery shall be repaired or replaced to restore the item to its original condition at no additional cost to the U.S. Government.
The contractor shall perform a test run and make necessary adjustments to ensure the truck is fully operational. The contractor shall also provide basic operational training, in Japanese, to U.S. Government Japanese employees at the time of delivery.
Technical and Regulatory Requirements:

The truck must comply with all applicable Japanese road regulations and vehicle safety standards.

The contractor must provide access to authorized on‑site maintenance and future support.

The contractor must be able to conduct on‑site training in Japanese.

A minimum one (1) year on‑site commercial warranty is required.
Notes
Note 1: This project will be performed entirely in Japan. The successful offeror must possess all licenses required to perform work in Japan.
Note 2: To ensure timely warranty support, test runs, and on‑site training in Japanese, offerors must have a Japanese CAGE code.
