Pump Station/Gravity Sewer Replacement

Sealed proposals will be received by City of Hazlehurst, Georgia at the Hazlehurst City Hall, 86 South Cromartie Street, Hazlehurst, Georgia 31539 until 10:00 a.m. local time, Thursday, December 18, 2025, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.

All Bidders must have a State of Georgia Utility Contractor License and must employ a state ¿Utility Manager¿ certificate holder who will have oversight of all the work.
The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor for the construction of:
Removal of pumps, piping and appurtenances from the Carey Johnson Circle Pumping Station and insertions of a new fiber reinforced polymer wetwell and new pumps, piping, valves, and appurtenances for the rehabilitation of the pumping station. Installation of a new 100-gpm sewage pumping station on Hatton Still Road along with approximately 56 linear feet of 4-inch force main. Installation of approximately 2,073 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer and 8 manholes, and abandonment of existing sewer manholes and the Willow Street Pumping Station.
Time allotted for construction is 180 consecutive calendar days.
