Pump Room Rehabilitation at Various Locations

Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: The Work for this Contract includes: Decommission, remove, dispose, upgrade, and replace elements of Pump Room 1014, Pump Room 1042, Pump Room 2142, and Pump Room 2155, including the following: Perform environmental and hazardous material abatement, including asbestos; Furnish and install temporary pumps to maintain Pump Room’s functionality during performance of the Work; Remove and replace existing pumps and pump controls with new pumps and new pump controls; Furnish and install new floor hatches and sliding doors; Remove and replace existing lighting, heating, and other auxiliary electrical devices with new equipment; Remove and repair deteriorated concrete, repair cracks on walls, replace corroded steel, repair delaminated concrete and spalls; and Paint pump rooms and provide new surface finishes to walls and ceilings, install new floor and epoxy paint coating, and remove and replace track signage; Install, connect, and commission communication equipment for above-listed pump rooms, which includes: Install communication cabinets and associated equipment in all pump rooms and connect cabinets to new and existing equipment within pump rooms: Install new telephone terminal boxes (“TTB”) and associated equipment in the pump rooms 1042 and 2142; Provide new fiber optic cabling and 25 pairs telephone cable from the pump rooms to communication rooms, fan plant, and substation.
