Public Works Hayland & Cropland/Pasture

The City of Bismarck, North Dakota, will receive sealed bids for leasing hayland at the Landfill and Wastewater Treatment Plant and cropland/pasture at the Landfill for the 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028, and 2029 seasons.  Bids will be received by the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Bismarck, in the office of the City Administrator, until 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 31, 2025.  Bids will be publicly opened and reviewed at 4:00 p.m., on Monday, March 31, 2025.

The bids must be mailed to the City Administrator (PO Box 5503, Bismarck, ND 58506-5503) or otherwise deposited with the City Administrator (221 N 5th Street, 4 ^th Floor, Bismarck, ND) and shall be sealed and endorsed “Public Works Hayland/Cropland Bid” and must show the name and phone number of the individual submitting the bid. All bids received after the scheduled closing time will be returned unopened.

Only bids on the approved form furnished by the City of Bismarck and in accordance with specifications and conditions therein contained shall be accepted. Acreage/Location maps and bid forms may be downloaded from the City’s website or obtained by contacting Public Works via email (as noted above). Arrangements can be made with Public Works staff for inspection of the locations via email or phone at 701-355-1700, option 3 or 4.

The City of Bismarck may award such lease to the highest bidder of each location and reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities or irregularities, or to accept such as may be determined to be in the best interest of the City of Bismarck.
