Public Works Construction Projects - Request for Qualifications

The City of Montpelier, Vermont (hereinafter "the City") is seeking qualified and experienced contractors to be considered for its pre-qualified list for utility and infrastructure construction, repair, and maintenance services.

The purpose of this RFQ is to solicit statements of qualifications from firms with demonstrated experience in municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, roadway, traffic signal, lighting, and related civil infrastructure projects. The City intends to establish a pool of pre-qualified contractors who may be called upon to perform work on an as-needed basis for emergency repairs, planned capital projects, maintenance activities, and small-scale construction projects.

This RFQ does not constitute an agreement or commitment to enter into a contract. All contractors who meet the RFQ requirements will be placed on the prequalification list. The City will reach out to one or more contractors to obtain price quotes on a project or task specific basis. This RFQ is only valid for projects expected to have a contracted cost of less than $250,000.

The City is seeking contractors with expertise in municipal public works and utility infrastructure projects, including but not limited to the following services. Firms may submit qualifications for one or multiple categories. Clearly indicate which services your firm is qualified to provide.
