Public Works: Bid on Uniform

NOTICE OF BID
The City of Pigeon Forge is receiving bids on work uniforms for the Public
Works Departments. Uniforms to consist of shirts and pants.
Specifications may be obtained from the Public Works Department at City
Hall between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., July 30, 2026; at which time they will
be opened and read aloud. All bids must be in sealed envelope with bidders
name and address on outside and marked "Bid on Uniforms."
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid
most favorable to the City.

SPECIFICATIONS
Red Cap, Propper, Carhartt or equal.
Shirts: industrial poplin shirt; 65% polyester/35% cotton, lined collar
with stays, two button-thru pockets, six buttons, gripper at the neck,
stitched down front facing, tan in color, short and long sleeve.
Carhartt Force cotton short sleeve T-shirt, men's relaxed fit, sweat
wicking, stain repellent, style 100410 or equal, carbon heather (dark gray)
in color, short and long sleeve.
Pants:
Propper style number F5251, 6.2 oz 60% cotton/40% polyester
ripstop,action-stretch waistband, two back pockets with hook and loop
closure, two front pockets with reinforced opening for tools, two double
cargo pockets with open-top stash pockets.
Carhartt style number 102291 (relaxed straight rigby dungaree)
Red Cap style number TPM2-Carbon
Most pants will be charcoal and a few navy and carbon in color.
Jacket: Carhartt 104050. Majority of jackets moss (green) in color with
a few navy or charcoal in color.
There will be approximately 90 employees to be fitted by a representative
of the awarded bidder.
All shirts and jackets must have Pigeon Forge Public Works on one side
and employees name on other side. Embroidery only no patches.
Each employee will receive 5 pair of pants and 5 shirts (long or short
sleeve) of their choosing.
Bid price will be good for a 1 year period with the option of extending bid
price for a 1 year period if City and winning bidder are in agreement.
