PTC 24-02 POINT PLACE PARK

City of Peachtree Corners (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

PTC 24-02 Point Place Park KW Project No. 240277

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Peachtree Corners City Hall located at 310 Technology Parkway, Peachtree Corners, Georgia 30092, until Monday, April 28th at 2:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

The project consists of demoing an existing street and cul-de-sac to construct a pocket park. Improvements include concrete sidewalk, rubble seat walls, concrete steps bioretention area with underdrain, grading, erosion control, and final landscaping. Obtaining the Bidding Documents

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the total bid amount. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.

No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by satisfactory evidence that the Bidder holds either a Georgia State Contractor's License, Georgia State Utility Contractor's License, or qualifications with the Georgia Department of Transportation for similar work, in compliance with Act. O.C.G.A. 43-14 and 43-41. Failure to provide the bidder's license or qualification number on the outside of the sealed proposal will result in rejection of the bid.

If the Contract is to be awarded, Owner will award the Contract on the basis of the base bid alone.

Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time of 150 calendar days. Owner shall make progress payments on account of the Contract Price on the basis of Contractor's Applications for Payment submitted once per month as provided in the General Conditions.
