Psychologists for Correctional Service Canada Prairie Region’s Institutions

This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC), at Bowden Institution in the Prairie Region.

Trade agreement:         This procurement is not subject to any trade agreement.

Policy on Reciprocal Procurement: This solicitation is open only to Canadian suppliers

Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid.

Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers.

Nature of Requirements:

The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) Health Services require the services of a psychologist for the Prairie Region at Bowden Institution.

The psychologist must provide psychological assessment services to offenders and collaborate, as

required, with the interdisciplinary health services team that includes, but is not limited to nursing, psychology, social work, occupational therapy, and other allied healthcare professionals.

Objectives:

Provide essential and non-essential mental health services, specifically Psychological Risk Assessments services to offenders, as requested by the Project Authority, to inmates at Bowden Institution.

Deliverables: The Contractor must provide up to 8 Psychological Risk Assessments per month.

Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.

Estimated quantity of commodity: see solicitation document statement of work and basis of payment.
