Description
The City requires construction services for the section of the Drake Street from Hornby to Continental Street as part of Drake Street Upgrade project for transforming the bi-directional corridor into a AAA bike facility, with an eastbound-only vehicle lane running from Burrard to Pacific and will be contracting with Pomerleau Inc. which is already performing the works in the area and is also completing similar works in the earlier section of the Drake Street. To ensure sequential continuity of works being carried under the Drake Street Upgrade program and in alignment with the construction services works addressed under the Granville Bridge Interim Connector and North Loops Reconfiguration (ICNLR or “Connector”) project, already being delivered by Pomerleau Inc. and meeting the critical completion timelines.
Term of the contract & options
The contract is valued at approximately $647,110.00 (excl. GST) targeting an aggressive term of 2-3 months.
The RFX will be administered through the website (JAGGAER) that is the City’s electronic procurement portal (the “Supplier Portal”).
