Description
Project Description: Issuing Procurement Unit: Department of Purchasing
Conducting Procurement Unit: Department of Physical Facilities
Purpose of IFB:
The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to establish a contract for the renovation of six restrooms—three large group restrooms (Boys/Girls) at each of the following locations: Canyon Crest Elementary and Westridge Elementary. The scope of work includes the complete demolition and replacement of all plumbing fixtures, finishes, and electrical components within each restroom. These upgrades will ensure full ADA compliance. Additionally, new exhaust fans will be installed and extended to the roof.
Non-Mandatory Site Visit:
A site visit will be held on April 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM MDT. Attendees should meet at the front entrance of Westridge Elementary, located at 1720 W 1460 N, Provo, UT 84604. Only this location will be toured, as the other site shares a similar floor plan.
It is anticipated that this IFB may result in multiple contract awards.
Methodology for Determining Contract Awards:
There are two locations where these services will be performed. Bids will be accepted for each location individually, as well as for both locations combined. The District reserves the right to award the contract based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid—either by individual location or by the overall combined cost of both locations.
Contract Duration:
The contract will remain in effect until construction is completed and the work has been reviewed and formally approved by the District.
The vendor must guarantee its pricing for the entirety of the projects.
The Architectural specs will be uploaded to this solicitation on April 15th and the Architectural drawings will be provided on April 18th at the non-mandatory walk-through.
