Scope of Services
The County is seeking proposals from private landowners located within unincorporated Brevard County to provide property for the final placement and long-term containment of dredged material or muck generated from County restoration dredging projects. The muck will originate from projects within the Indian River Lagoon system, located at various sites throughout north, central, and south Brevard County. The County intends to shortlist properties by identifying, evaluating, and qualifying multiple respondents. The County reserves the right at its sole discretion to reject all proposals or prequalify multiple landowners to maximize options and optimize cost-effectiveness and project outcomes. Prequalifying of a property does not guarantee its selection or use. Final property selection will be carried out by the dredging contractor that will be procured through the County’s competitive bidding process.
