Scope of Services
1. It is the intent of this solicitation to a qualified Insurance Broker/Agent to service as the County’s insurance and risk management advisor and insurance broker as it pertains to all of the County insurance needs (excluding employee health, life and disability insurance), with the additional intent to maintain a consolidated insurance program, enhance the County’s risk management program utilizing current industry wide best practices that will lead to improved effectiveness and efficiencies, obtain future program results that are quantifiable and measurable, and maintain an insured program that is on a net of commission basis, with full disclosure of any contingent income. Insurance lines will include, but are not limited to general liability, automobile, cyber-liability, and medical malpractice, as well as public official bonds. Deviations from the compensation method as described herein or from the ability to provide the Scope of Services must be clearly described. provide property and casualty insurance broker services to Osceola County on an as needed basis.
