Property and Casualty Claims Third Party Administration Services

Project Description: The City of Charlotte’s Risk Management Division (“RMD”) is seeking proposals from qualified Companies to supervise, administer, and manage Property and Casualty Claims for the following Claim Types: • Liability Claims: Bodily Injury, Property Damage Liability; • Property Damage: Auto; • Subrogation; and • Sewer Back-Up Program. The services must be handled in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations and specific notification requirements (where applicable to RMD’s excess insurance carriers). Currently, the RMD handles Claims for the City of Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, totaling an estimated annual of 1,289 claims per year.
The City seeks to work with a Company that can treat our Claims as a priority, as many Claims demand an immediate response, regardless of the time of the day. Claims handled by the selected Company will require field investigations in the Charlotte Area.
The Contract will be effective for Three (3) years (the “Initial Term”) with the option for two (2) one-year renewals (the “Renewal Term”).
