2026-63 Promotional Testing - Fairfield Fire Department

Project Description: The Town of Fairfield (“Town”) is seeking qualified contractors to provide qualifications and pricing proposals to partner with the Town in developing and administering promotional examination/testing services for the Fairfield Fire Department as detailed in the attached specifications. The awarded firm will be responsible for developing, validating, administering, and scoring written examinations and oral assessment type promotional exams. These exams will be administered for the promotions of Assistant Chief and Lieutenant and will be administered within the Town of Fairfield. The Chief or Deputy Chief of the Fairfield Fire Department will provide three (3) Assessors from other fire departments for each promotional examination process. It is the Town’s intention to utilize active fire department officers holding (at minimum) the rank being tested for to serve as the exam Assessors.
