The proposed work includes reconstruction of VFW Drive and St. Pius Spur above the 500-year floodplain elevation, lane addition on US 61 and reconfiguring the signal at US 61 and US 67, extension of Airport Road, and construction of two new roads leading to the airport development. Work includes grading, drainage, pavement, traffic signals, guardrail, and striping.

Special Requirements:

All vendors submitting a proposal MUST attend the Pre-Bid meeting to be held at the Jefferson County Annex building located at 725 Maple Street, Hillsboro, MO 63050, in Conference Room 206 starting at 2:00 o’clock P.M. DST on November 6th, 2024. The listed project manager from the Jefferson County Department of Public Works shall hold a Pre-Bid meeting to allow all interested bidders to view the County-provided materials and inquire about and identify any variables associated with this project. A proposal submitted by a vendor not in attendance at the Pre-Bid meeting shall not be considered a valid proposal. Please call (636) 797-5573 with any questions, or special accommodations.
