Toomey Hall Southeast Roof Replacement

will be received by the Curators of the University of Missouri, Owner, at Design and Construction
Management, General Services Building, 1701 Spruce Drive, Missouri University of Science and
Technology, Rolla, Missouri 65409, until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2024, and immediately
opened and publicly read aloud in Conference Room 150.

Boulevard, Suite 7A, Columbia, Missouri 65203, phone (573) 446-7768, or email orders@adsmo.net for
a refundable deposit of $100, CHECK ONLY, payable to ADS. Mailing cost are the responsibility of the
purchaser. Only documents returned within fourteen (14) calendar days after the bid opening, in good
condition will be refunded. A download is available for a (non-refundable) purchase. Neither owner nor
Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda (if any)
obtained from sources other than the issuing office. All Contract Documents must be obtained by the
Bidder from ADS to be an Eligible Bidder.
The project scope shall be defined as follows: Selective demolition of existing roof, flashing, and underlying
insulation and cover board (approximately 3500 sq. foot). The roof replacement project will include supply
and replacement of a tapered insulation system (3”-8” thickness), mechanically fastened bottom layer of
insulation, fully adhered other insulation, cover board, and 80 mil TPO fully adhered roofing system,
complete with supply and installation of flashing system on all four sides of the roof parapet. Contractor
shall also supply and install three tie down anchors, and all roof accessories as called out on the plans and
specifications.
There will not be a scheduled pre-bid meeting, however if a bidder desires to look at the project on-site
please contact Eric Warfield at (573) 341-4434 to arrange an escorted site visit.
The contractor shall have as a goal subcontracting with Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Enterprise
(SDVE) of three percent (3%) of awarded contract price for work to be performed.
