Project No. 89005631 Owners Representative for KCMO’s “Bridging Kansas City to The Future” - Federal Bridge Investment Program

Project Description: The City of Kansas City, Missouri through the Public Works Department is leveraging $9,983,714 in City bridge funds to capture $39,934,854 in Federal Bridge Investment Program, (BIP) funds to replace nine, (9) bridges across the City on an accelerated schedule and using less City funds than it would have cost otherwise. The City desires to construct bridges that are durable and environmentally sensitive that link the community to job and health opportunities. To generate further benefit to the City through this bridge bundling an innovative management approach will create cost savings, bid acceleration and a reduction in City staff management burden. This innovative approach will be led by an Owner’s Representative consultant team.
