Project No. EV4078 Kansas City, Missouri Community Resource Center

Project Description: The City of Kansas City is seeking a design professional team to provide programming, design, and cost estimating services for developing a Community Resource Center in the immediate vicinity of Kansas City Municipal Court. The purpose of the Community Resource Center (“CRC”) is to successfully transition pre- or post-booking, justice-involved individuals into the community by establishing a centralized, coordinated, and seamless continuum of care, treatment, and services in collaboration with private and public social services. The facility will house City-services, non-profit organizations, and healthcare providers working together to provide wraparound services. By housing a comprehensive array of services and supports in one location, the goal is to remove many of the barriers and complexities of navigating traditional community mental health and social services and make individuals more likely to engage treatment and recovery services.
The minority participation goals on the project are 14% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and 14% Women Business Enterprise (WBE).
