PROFESSIONAL RIGHT-OF-WAY ACQUISITION/APPRAISAL SERVICES

The City of Irving (the “City”) is requesting statement of qualifications from qualified firms or providers of professional right-of-way acquisition services and real estate appraisal services. The qualified firms or providers shall be selected and one or more contracts will be awarded on the basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications to perform the services; and for a fair and reasonable price. The selected firms or providers may be asked to perform either service depending on the provider’s capacity to keep up with the City’s demands, as determined in the City’s sole discretion. These services will typically range in acquisition costs of $2,000 to $10,000,000. These contracts will be awarded as a not t o exceed contract in the amount up to $500,000 per year for up to three years. There is no guarantee that services will be needed for this amount or at all in any given year.

The City of Irving intends to hire three (3) firms or providers: (1) to provide Right-of-Way Acquisition and Appraisal Services for street projects, including projects in the Road-to-the-Future program, and other miscellaneous projects; and (2) to provide Right-of-Way Acquisition and Appraisal Services for water and wastewater and other miscellaneous projects. (3) to provide Right-of-Way Acquisition and Appraisal Services for drainage and other miscellaneous projects.
