Whitpain Township is seeking a response from consultants interested in providing professional services needed to provide construction administration and observation services for Wissahickon Park.
Notice is hereby given that the Whitpain Township Board of Supervisors will receive proposals at the Whitpain Township Building, 960 Wentz Road, Blue Bell, PA 19422 until 3:00pm, prevailing time, on February 27, 2025. All proposals must be sealed and addressed to the Board of Supervisors, Attention: Mr. Eric Traub, Township Manager, at the above address, and marked “Proposal for Construction Administration & Observation Services for Wissahickon Park” on the outside of the envelope.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Whitpain Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all qualifications and to accept only those qualifications that are in the best interest of the Township.
There is no expressed or implied obligation for the Township to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing responses to this request.
To be considered, one (1) original (so marked) and three (3) copies of the Professional Engineering Proposal, three (3) copies of the Cost Proposal must be received prior to the due date and time and one (1) electronic copy of the Professional Engineering Proposal in pdf file format emailed to the Township Manager’s office,

. The Cost Proposals shall be sealed in a separate envelope and marked “Cost Proposal for Construction Administration & Observation Services for Wissahickon Park.” All proposals and electronic copies shall be received by the Township by 3:00pm on February 27th, 2025.
During the evaluation process, the Township review committee reserves the right, where it may serve the Township’s best interest, to request additional information or clarification from responders, or to allow corrections of errors or omissions.
The Township reserves the right to retain all responses and to use any ideas included in a response regardless of whether that response is selected. Submission of a response indicates acceptance by the firm of the conditions contained in this request for proposals (RFP), unless clearly and specifically noted in the response and confirmed in the contract between the Township and the firm selected.
The prospective contractor certifies by submission of their qualifications that neither it nor its principals are presently debarred, suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ineligible, or voluntarily excluded from participation in this transaction by any Federal, state, or local department or agency.
