Professional Design Services for the Center for Spiritual Care and Reflection

Roswell Park Comprehensive Caner Center is seeking proposals from qualified design firms to provide professional design and engineering services for a Spiritual Care Center and Art Heals space. The addition— to be built in Kaminski Park—will be connected to the existing atrium on the ground and first floors of the Main Hospital Building.

Bidders shall provide all of the professional and engineering services including, but not limited to, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, site/civil, infection control/phasing drawings, data collection, cost estimating, and all other tasks necessary to complete the project to the satisfaction of Roswell Park.

Kaminski Park (“Park”) was built in 2000 and is directly adjacent to the Hospital and other administrative and research buildings. The Hospital and administrative and research buildings are connected by a second story enclosed pedestrian bridge that is on the perimeter of Kaminski Park. Kaminski Park has become a venue for numerous community events and celebrations, offering moments of tranquility and enjoyment to the Roswell Park family, its patients, and the community at large. The Park also provides an opportunity to pay tribute to a beloved family member, friend, co-worker, or health care provider through naming opportunities with a brick, paver, tree, planter, or bench.

The building addition is envisioned to be a two-story structure, in the range of 4,500
gross square feet total; approximately 2,130 GSF per floor, as shown on the Conceptual Design Drawings A-100, A-200 and AD-100 dated June 27, 2025. Each floor of the building addition will house an individual program: the Spiritual Care Center is intended to be located on the first floor, and the Art Heals Space will be located on the ground level.

A pre-bid meeting will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 1pm. Interested firms can meet in the lobby of the Research Studies Center.
